An expert in the Italian Bel Canto, Miss Pinza is a former leading soprano with the Metropolitan Opera, La Scala, San Francisco and other major opera companies. For the past twenty years she has devoted herself to teaching, bringing to her students an unsurpassed world of teaching experience. Presently Miss Pinza teaches at the University of Pittsburgh and Duquesne University. Besides teaching voice, she specializes in technical coaching on opera.
